Instructions
Stir the cinnamon (and honey, if using) into the Greek yogurt until smooth.
Gently toss the strawberries and raspberries together in a small bowl.
Spoon about ⅓ cup of yogurt into the bottom of each of two glasses or jars.
Add a layer of berries, then a spoonful of granola.
Repeat the layers until all the yogurt and fruit are used, finishing with berries on top.
Sprinkle with sliced almonds and the remaining granola just before serving so it stays crunchy.
Why It's a Good Choice After 50
Greek yogurt contains more protein than regular yogurt, and it's a source of calcium. Fresh berries add fiber and natural sweetness, so you can enjoy a treat-like breakfast with little or no added sugar.
- A source of protein to start the day.
- Calcium-containing dairy, part of eating patterns that support bone health.
- No cooking required — just layer and enjoy.
- Easy to adapt for different tastes and seasons.
Tips & Easy Swaps
- Prepare yogurt and fruit layers the night before; add granola in the morning.
- In winter, use thawed frozen berries — they're picked at peak ripeness.
- Compare granola labels and choose one with less added sugar.
Storage & Leftovers
Assembled parfaits (without granola) keep in the refrigerator for up to 1 day. Store granola separately at room temperature.
