How To Get Rid Of Pimples
Pimples are caused by clogged pores/skin ducts. To treat these eruptions the most important thing is to gently wash the skin with a neutral PH such as Dove only 2 or 3 time a day.
Overwashing or using harsh soaps and cleansers can make adult acne worse by removing essential oils and making your dry kin condition likely to flare up and send you off to find the latest acne miracle cure.
To treat flare ups use a medicated acne treatment and a good moisturizer. Once you understand the causes of acne you will be better able to treat it.
Again be sure to treat your fragile skin with a gentle delicate touch. I know I said this before but it is vital you understand the importance of gentle skin cleansing.
Both teen and adult acne I caused by over activity of the sebaceous gland which causes pimples to erupt.
You cannot get rid of acne by popping the pimples. If anything, it worsens the condition because bacteria lays on the skin and more pimples appear. Also the popped pimples can leave scars called pock marks. You can apply topical acne meds to your skin but one of the best treatments for mild to moderate acne is to leave it alone and let it heal. This is difficult but it can help.
Do you know that pimples can show up on any part of the human body except the soles of your feet? This means that the pores on your genitals can get pimples just like your face or back. This means that you scalp, penis or vagina can have pimples. Polluted air, dirt, sweat and other pollutants and hormonal fluctuations can all cause penile and vaginal pimples.
In a severe case see a physician. Otherwise, leave it alone. Do you really want to ask the drugstore clerk how to get rid of pimples on your private parts?
Be kind to your skin you will have it for many years and it can’t be replaced so eat a healthy diet, cleanse it gently, get some sunlight but avoid over exposure and use sunscreen.
In severe cases of acne, it would be wise to see a dermatologist for evaluation and treatment, this will reduce the risk of scarring.

Yoga and Learning Disabilities
Learning disabilities are a common cause of frustration for children and adults. It is estimated that as high as 15 percent of Americans have some sort of learning disability. By definition, they are defined as the psychological or neurological conditions that influence a person’s ability to communicate and learn efficiently.
While people who have disorders such as ADHD and autism may very well also possess learning disabilities, these types of disorders don’t belong in the learning disability category. Diagnoses that do belong, however, can greatly vary, ranging from reading disorders, such as dyslexia, to disorders that disallow for the comprehension of mathematics, such as dyscalculia.
Those who are plagued with learning disabilities are not always of high or low intelligence, though presence on both ends of the spectrum are possible. Likewise, a person born with a learning disability wasn’t necessarily born with an inability to learn. Instead, the individual simply possesses a processing impairment, such as an auditory impairment or visual impairment, that makes their ability to learn from routine ways of teaching particularly difficult.
While learning disabilities can weaken a person’s ability to learn, the damage they do often falls into deeper crevices. Some people, particularly children, with learning disabilities may have severe self esteem issues, anger problems, behavioral problems, and a desire to quit things like school or extracurricular activities.
How Yoga Helps
The treatment of a learning disability can vary from person to person. Different disabilities require different treatment options and even then, therapy must be determined on an individual basis: what works for one person with dyslexia may not work for another. However, yoga, because it does not focus on the disability but the person, can benefit a variety of people with a variety of learning problems.
Self Esteem: Self esteem can be a hard thing for some people to obtain, particularly when that person feels as though they have something wrong with them. Yoga is a vehicle of self-awareness, self-realization, and self-acceptance, three things that work together to increase a person’s sense of self, ultimately solidifying their self esteem.
People who do yoga feel better about themselves and the world around them. They become motivated, better able to tackle the hardships a learning disability, or any kind of disability, can bring. Yoga also helps them gain acceptance of their disability, accepting that they have it and learning what can help minimize the effects of it. Yoga also provides time for self-reflection, helping students to become less influenced by their negative capacities and more influenced by their positive ones.
Conscious Breathing: If there is one function that can help just about anything, it’s probably the act of conscious breathing. Breathing helps a person on innumerable levels.
From increasing circulation to providing oxidation, from ridding the body of stagnant energy to bringing in fresh forces, breathing helps people to be more in tune, more empowered, and more ready to learn.
Breathing can also help thwart a major element of learning disabilities: frustration.. Because frustration comes along with nearly every learning disability, with some people succumbing to aggravation and hindering their ability to learn even more, the breathing techniques taught in yoga can help people to relax, rejuvenate, and try again.
Concentration: The ability to concentrate is a major factor in the ability to learn. Oftentimes, those with learning disabilities have an impaired ability to concentrate. Yoga, however, facilitates concentration.. Not only does the actual practice of it require students to focus on their breathing as it weaves through the poses, but yoga also gives people the ability to focus when away from the studio.
Yoga increases the circulation of oxygen and blood to the brain, allowing people to focus, to concentrate, and to remember things with greater clarity. It also stimulates the Central Nervous system, the system that serves as the messenger between the brain and the rest of the body. Through the meditation and mindful practices of yoga, people become more centered and balanced, allowing them to focus on tasks at hand with greater attentiveness.
Eye Movements: People who have dyslexia, a learning disability that affects reading and writing, may particularly benefit from practicing yoga. This is because parts of yoga involve eye exercises, with students forming poses and focusing on a certain spot for an extended period of time. These eye exercises can increase the efficiency of the optic nerve, relax the muscles of the face, and increase the functionality of certain areas of the brain. These benefits all work together to improve a person’s ability to focus visually, helping them to correctly recognize words in the process.
People with learning disabilities may need a wide range of therapies. Children, in particular, may require more one on one attention during class or tutoring. Even with therapy, however, learning disabilities might not go away entirely. Because many are biological or genetic, some people are just programmed to learn differently than others. However, yoga can help those afflicted to accept their impairment and gain strength by removing the focus from their disabilities and placing it on their abilities.

Stuck in the Food Muck (Part 2 of 3)
Often times we know that we are not happy with our weight, health and fitness. We know that we should make changes in our eating, exercise, and lifestyle habits, but sometimes we just get stuck in our old ways of thinking and eating.
Why do we get so stuck in not-so-good-for-you habits and stay stuck when we know better?
There are many reasons for getting stuck.
The more aware you become of what keeps you in the food rut, the more likely you will free yourself from that rut so you can reach a higher level of health and fitness.
What keeps you stuck in a body less than your ideal? Could it be:
Conditioning
Habits
Emotional bondage
Ignorance
Laziness
Complacency (self-satisfaction)
Too many voices
Fear
Doctor worship
10.“It won’t happen to me”
In this article, let’s explore ignorance, laziness, and complacency.
Ignorance: Many people simply do not know that what they we eat has a direct effect upon their health. If they do know that food plays a role in their health, they don’t know how important food really is.
And certainly many people continue to eat what they were taught to eat when they were children. After all, their mothers knew what was best for them, and they just continue to eat what they were taught to eat by their mothers and have eaten all their lives.
They do not know that most experts agree that the fat, cholesterol, and even the animal protein found in animal products, along with the white sugar, white flour, and white salt products are direct contributors to loss of health, debilitating conditions, diseases, and premature death.
A diet, filled with whole fruits, vegetables, grains, beans, nuts, and seeds, promotes health and reduces the chances of getting life-shortening diseases. Many people just don’t know that.
Ignorance is not bliss. It is deadly.
Laziness: If we are aware, most of us are lazy at some times in our lives and some of us are lazy when it comes to changing eating habits. We know better, but we are simply too lazy to change our thinking and our patterns. Does that sound familiar to you?
As Jim Rohn says, the pain of regret is far greater than the pain of self-discipline. And haven’t we all experienced that lesson more than once in our lives? Yet, how many of us still haven’t learned that lesson?
Complacency (or self-satisfied): Some of you convince yourselves that you eat “well enough.” You eat in “moderation,” you tell yourself. You eat “balanced” meals. You eat “plenty” of fruits and vegetables. You don’t eat that much meat, cheese, and salty or sugary snacks. You take good care of yourself.
You think that you are doing “good” enough so, therefore, there is no need for you to make any changes at all. So, you stay stuck in your comfortable, self-satisfied ways and don’t try to make any changes that could make a difference between life and premature disease and early death.
Often times, the people stuck in complacency are the hardest people of all to reach.
They already know it all. There is nothing left to learn.
Do complacency, laziness, or ignorance keep you stuck in the food muck?
Part 3 of this article explores: “too many voices,” “fear,” “doctor worship,” and “It won’t happen to me.”

What Causes Acne And Guaranteed Ways To Get Rid Of Acne
Acne begins in puberty, but it does not always end there. Every teenager, if examined closely enough will show some of the effects of acne with some being mild, others more severe. The major hormone causing changes in teenagers is androgen. Under its influence, the sebaceous glands produce more and more sebum (oil). This leads, then, to oily skin and a change in skin flora. There is an increase in the bacteria that cause acne as well as a type of fungus. All these contribute to the development of blockages at the oil gland openings known as comedones. Such blockages cause blackheads and whiteheads – and acne when there is infection of the skin’s pores.
Acne should not be viewed as something that comes with puberty. It has lasting effects on the skin, like scarring, and should be treated. A gentle skin cleansing without using cleansers that over-dry skin should be established. Addition to that a supplement such as Acuzine should be taken to have a fast and effective acne cure inside out.
In adults, acne could be a carryover from adolescence, occupational (exposure to chemicals or other skin irritants in the workplace), drug induced (some medications exacerbate acne) or cosmetic acne. There are also other factors that may contribute to acne besides family history such as frequent use of thick make-up, frequent activities under hot and humid conditions and contact with oily substances.
There is nothing much that we can do about genetics but surely we can do something about lifestyle factors to prevent acne. Using thick, oily creams also may lead to breakouts too. People with acne should use products that are formulated for people with oily skin.
Stress is another common aggravating factor for acne. Lack of sleep is a form of stress in itself too. And for women, the menstrual cycle can trigger off acne too. But whatever your stage in life with acne, if the acne cream or lotion show no sign of clearing up, then get Acuzine. Acuzine is rate no.1 acne treatment product with guaranteed results. It works for adults or teenagers suffering from facial or body acne. This is a natural acne treatment formula with no side effect and highly recommended by dermatologists. Fast and effective acne cure from inside out.
Treating acne at the start of the problem is easier than dealing with the scars.

Natural Home Remedies for Discharge of Phlegm, Pus from the Ear and Night Blindness
Discharge of phlegm
Phlegm troubles those who eat refined flour, milled rice, lentils and milk. Vegetables and fruit can reduce the amount of phlegm produced in the body. If the food is not properly digested or assimilated by the body, phlegm is abnormally high. Exercise and increasing of the vegetables contents of the food would meet this condition.
An expedient which can give quick results is this drinking of warm water (about a litre) with a tablespoonful of salt added to it. Drink it after you have gone to the toilet and then vomit in out. Most of the phlegm would be expelled.
Discharge of pus from the ear
A father writes: my eight-year-old son suffers from discharge of pus from his ear. No drugs have succeeded in giving him any relief.
Foods, which raise the amount of phlegm in the body, e.g., mild rice, sugar and lentils, should be avoided. You son should take whole meal bread, vegetables and fruits. He should be encouraged to take part in sports and games and should take regular exercise. Fresh air is of vital importance as is sun bathing. Ask the child to sit in the sun so that sunlight penetrates the inner part of his ear for fifteen minutes. This process will help in stopping the discharge of pus.
Night blindness
A father writes: My five-year-old son suffers from night blindness. He is unable to see after sunset and no course of treatment has so far been of any help.
Night blindness is a deficiency disease; if the elements needed are found in the diet night blindness will go. Natural salts and vitamins needed to make up the deficiency which causes night blindness are found in whole meal bread, unmilled rice, fresh vegetables and ask him to eat at least 250 grammes of carrots each day. Carrot is a vegetable, which contains vitamins, which make up the deficiency.

Quit Smoking Naturally - Kick Your Unhealthy Habit
Smoking has suffered the slings of ridicule and the romanticizing of the movies. You can almost tell when a movie was made by how many people in the movie smoke and whether the smokers are the good guys or the bad guys. But in real life, smoking has always been the bad guy, long recognized as an unhealthy habit. So how can you quit smoking naturally?
The downsides to smoking are numerous. They include:
· Higher risk of cancer
· Higher risk of emphysema
· Discoloration of teeth
· Desensitization of taste and smell
· Effects on blood pressure
· Heart and lung disease
Smoking brings about an increase in carbon monoxide and a decrease of oxygen in the blood stream. The introduction of nicotine, one of the primary ingredients of tobacco, temporarily increases the smoker’s heart rate and increases her blood pressure by constricting blood vessels. This combination creates an increased risk of heart attack and stroke.
But smoking also has an impact on brain’s pleasure centers. Withdrawal causes big changes in these centers. The changes are very similar to the changes observed in individuals suffering withdrawals from other drugs like cocaine, heroin, and alcohol. And the effect of the changes on the smoker are also very similar to those of other drugs.
These characteristics make quitting difficult, very difficult. The changes due to the lack of Nicotine, the main addictive substance in cigarettes, have some very unpleasant withdrawal symptoms that impact the smoker and the people around them. These symptoms include irritability, impatience, restlessness, increased appetite and weight gain, and difficulty in concentrating. These symptoms combine to create a powerful incentive to continue smoking. To quit smoking naturally we must recognize and deal with these symptoms.
Many studies show that a two-pronged approach is needed to help a person break the cigarette habit. Generally, any treatment involving either drugs or an herbal treatment must be accompanied by an adjustment of the smoker’s behavioral patterns. These adjustments include developing skill in overcoming high-risk situations. When presented as a combined action, the success rates are very high. When only one is used, resulting success rates are much lower. Many natural cures are on the market today and carefully cosider all options and find a way to quit smoking naturally that suits you and your lifestyle.

Short Term And Long Term Memory
Cognitive psychologists define memory in three distinct stores: sensory information storage (SIS), the short-term (STM)/ working memory and long-term (LTM). These three distinct memory processes differ in function, the amount of time the information is stored, the way the information is retained and the capacity of the brain to handle the received information.
Sensory information storage has an unlimited capacity in the brain. Why do we view a film as being a continuous moving image when it is shot at 24 frames per second? SIS makes it possible for us to perceive this moving image fluidly and not as a series of still images because visual and auditory stimuli retain in the memory for a fraction of a second through the phenomena of iconic and echoic memory. The sensory organs receive this information and leave a visual trace of the event longer than the event itself in order for the brain to process what we hear or see.
George Miller, an American psychologist, in his famous 1956 study on memory span, came up with ‘the magical number seven, plus or minus two’ to describe the amount of pieces of information a person could hold in the forefront of their memory. This short-term or working memory, as it is now referred, comprises information that is stored for a few seconds to a few minutes and the manipulation and use of stored information in a person’s brain.
Information is circulated in working memory in a number of ways. Rehearsing a piece of information, such as repeating a phone number over and over again holds this piece of data for a very brief period of time. If a person becomes distracted during this rehearsal, the number can be easily forgotten. Working memory has limitations, the information can only be stored for a short amount of time. If a person is dictated a list of 10-20 cities and asked to repeat them back after the complete list is spoken, most people can only recall five to six of the city names given, most often remembered are the names in the beginning and the end. This is due to the attention given to the act of concentrating, interpreting or listening to the current information being received by the senses. Working memory’s limitations force the person’s capacity from doing all these things at once.
Some of the information received in working memory is then processed to long-term memory. This is done through a process of encoding or consolidation of information. Meaning and emotional content play a part in retaining information into LTM. What a person stores in his or her LTM is the knowledge that affects their perception of the world, skills the person has learned and personal memories from childhood, for example. LTM is a storage system in the brain that can hold extensive information on a reasonably lasting basis. It is believed by cognitive psychologists that the capacity for long-term memory is infinite. Throughout people’s lives, new skills can be learned, new subjects can be studied and this new information will be retained and stored in LTM. Episodic memory, semantic memory and procedural memory are the three systems of LTM.

A Quick and Effective Solution For Your Wrinkles!
When we were young, the word wrinkles and fine lines doesn’t seem to cross our mind at all. Because at that time, our skin still have intact collagen framework thus making it remains moisturized and elastic at most of the time. However, as one ages, our skin seems to lose its elasticity and develop more and more fine lines and wrinkles. These happen as the effect of the wear down of our skin collagen support, along with our daily facial expression and environmental exposure.
To treat this aging skin effect, you can go for wrinkle therapy to reduce the wrinkle effect. Wrinkle therapy is actually a treatment for your skin by providing nutrients or vitamins that your skin needs. Some of the examples are botox injection, Collagen injection, applying anti-wrinkle creams and etc.
Botox is actually a highly purified preparation of botulinum toxin A. Commonly used in aesthetic industry for injection, Botox acts by blocking the transmission of nerve impulses to muscles and so paralyzing the muscles. It is only injected in a very small amount into certain muscles to reduce the effect of wrinkles.
Besides Botox, you can opt for Collagen injection. Collagen is a formation of protein which forms a network of fibers that provides a framework for the growth of cells and blood vessels. By injecting collagen, you can get plumper and smoother appearance.
Though can provide effective and fast result, you should be cautious on choosing the wrinkle therapies. Make sure that you explain your health condition thoroughly to the physician before undergoing any sort of treatment. This is to make sure that your body would not falsely react to the treatment and cause any unwanted result. Usually, prior to subscribing any wrinkle therapy to you, your doctor will conduct some health screening to find out suitable type of therapy and whether or not your condition allow for such treatment.
Other than Botox and Collagen injection, there are also anti wrinkle cream that offers gradual skin texture improvement. This option is generally more cost effective and widely available in the market. You can easily get them without any doctor prescription. However, anti wrinkle cream is not as effective as botox or collagen injection because they work only on the skin surface and difficult to penetrate to the skin. So, the effect for this treatment may take more of your time.

Are You Looking For Natural Pain Relief Medication?
There is probably nothing more debilitating than chronic pain. Defined as pain lasting for six months or longer. Chronic pain afflicts millions of people. There is no way for you to be completely sure of preventing chronic pain. It can strike at any stage of your life, whether because of an accident or disease.
Chronic pain often long outlives its original cause, worsening over time and taking on a life of its own. Recent research has shown that chronic pain is destructive to your body. The longer chronic pain goes untreated, the worse it becomes. Chronic pain unleashes a cascade of harmful hormones, such as cortisol, that adversely affect your immune system and kidney function. You can’t expect it to go away by itself.
Many chronic pain sufferers wind up taking huge amounts of anti-inflammatory drugs. The NSAIDs (Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) like ibuprofen put them at risk for gastrointestinal bleeding and liver dysfunction. The newer class of pharmaceutical pain relievers, the COX-2 inhibitors, while an improvement in terms of side effects, still may cause some abdominal distress.
Anti-inflammatory drugs, including aspirin and Aleve, were implicated in the deaths of 16,000 people in the USA in 2000, due to bleeding ulcers and related complications, according to the Federal Drug Abuse Network. Research is also uncovering the fact that anxiety and depression are not so much responses to pain as the consequences of it.
Functional-imaging scans reveal similar disturbances in brain chemistry for both chronic pain and for depression. Pain and depression share the same neural pathways, the same circuitry. Allopathic physicians to treat depression and pain use the same medications. Depression and stressful events can enhance pain.
Chronic pain sufferers usually respond to stress with more pain. Serotonin and the endorphins that modulate healthy brain functioning also modulate depression. If you have chronic pain it uses up your serotonin like a car running out of gas.
It’s important to reduce the level of prostaglandins in your body. The compounds that cause you aches, pain and inflammation that makes your life miserable. It helps you to relax your muscles and to reduce swelling. It improves blood flow to areas such as your joints.
Most likely, you or someone you know suffers from some form of joint pain. With the recent removal of VIOXX and Celebrex from the market, millions of people are searching for an all-natural alternative. Finally, you have an all-natural and safe solution that is now being sold stating that it is the ONLY pain relief health supplement that includes a complete list of active botanicals in one easy to take supplement. You might have it seen on TV.
With this you can relieve your chronic pain of osteoarthritis, rheumatism, neuralgia, stiff joints, shingles, neck ache, and lower back pain. It also provides welcome pain relief from carpal tunnel syndrome, tendinitis, fibromyalgia, muscle and joint pain, pinched nerves and sprains.
It is stated that it’s the most powerful anti-inflammatory agent on the market today and best of all it’s 100% natural and safe. Additionally, it acts as a highly effective lubricant in your joints, muscles and other tissues. It is also an immune system modulator, which can be effectual against autoimmune conditions. All of these characteristics contribute to its ability to act as an analgesic by removing the source of pain (inflamed and irritated tissues) so that there is no pain impulse.
Taking this product is NOT a substitute for treatment by a physician for chronic pain conditions, but the active ingredients can help to control this sort of chronic and severe pain without causing the side effects associated with many artificial pain relievers.
