Alleviate Back Pain in 5 Easy Steps!

After cough and cold, back pain is perhaps the second most annoying disease that makes people queue up in front of doctor’s chamber. There are several causes behind back pain. In this article I will tell you how to alleviate back pain using some simple techniques.

You should keep in mind that contrary to what most people seem to believe, back pain is not caused by any single cause or event. You may think that you have got that back pain because you lifted a piece of paper or a tool but jog your memory a little and you will realize that in the past you have been doing certain things improperly for a long time; perhaps you have been sitting or standing in the wrong posture, or perhaps you have been sitting in one place for a pretty long time, or perhaps you have been lifting heavy weights for hours. However you needn’t worry, because you are not the only one who happens to suffer from back pain. In fact, in America itself, more than 2.5 million people suffer from back pain. And you will be happy to know that most backaches get cured by themselves. But in case your back pain persists even after a few days, you can use the following methods to alleviate back pain.

1. Back ache is mostly caused because of too much strain on the spinal cord. For this reason, I would advise you to discontinue all your normal physical activities at least for the next two weeks. This should ease the strain on your back and hopefully it will help alleviate back pain.

2. Extreme temperatures can often alleviate back pain. Apply cold ice on the painful area for at least a few hours, and then apply heat at the same place.

3. Some folks advise people to stay away from over-the-counter pills. Well, the good news is that over-the-counter pills actually work in case of back pain! To alleviate back pain, medicines such as ibuprofen (Advil) or acetaminophen (Tylenol) are really very effective. For dosage instructions, see the printed instructions on the medicine bottles. Make sure that you don’t get yourself over-dosed.

4. If you have a habit of sleeping on your back, try to put a pillow or towel under your knees and then sleep as that will ease the pressure on your back. Once your back is relieved from pressure, it will be easier to alleviate back pain.

5. After about two or three weeks, when hopefully, your back pain is alleviated a little, you can start having exercises. You should concentrate on stretching as well as some light cardio exercises. You can do these exercises for a week or two, but make sure that you don’t try to lift heavy weights yet! In fact you should not lift any heavy weights at least for the next six weeks. Also, some activities are harmful for your back and should never be done when you are suffering from back pain. Activities such as ballet, golf, jogging, football, weight lifting, leg lifts while lying on your stomach, sit-ups (unless with bent knees), etc., can increase your back pain.

The Immune System: Don’t Leave Home Without It

Imagine your reaction when you open a fortune cookie and it reads, “Psychics will lead dogs to your body.” Sort of unnerving, huh? It is, if you don’t first roll over in gut-busting laughter. But, I’m told, that really did happen… I don’t know the reaction of the person involved, but it could have been a bit uncomfortable. After all, why do we open the “fortune cookie” to begin with?

Anyway, people can be disturbed by things like that…and history is replete with such tales. As a physician, what amazes me is the fact we can be a bit uneasy about superstitious events but have no problem “leaving our immune systems” at home.

What do I mean? Let me explain.

Pollsters and advertisers tell us people will spend a fortune getting well, trying to cure or mitigate some disease or condition but will almost NEVER spend a dime PREVENTING disease or health conditions. This is a particularly important point when considering your immune system.

Again, as a physician, I was always amazed when I would tell someone what to do, as to NOT get sick again. Do you think they listened? Sometimes. But they ALWAYS spend a lot on getting well, if possible. That is particularly the case with immune system problems…and immune system problems are our biggest health worries, once they “hit” us.

When you go out into the world every day, try to remember you have an immune system designed to withstand the daily medical issues that afflict us. But, it needs help. Like any defense system, it needs replenishing so as to do its vital work. Immune system malfunction is at the root of most disease conditions.

But, that’s the problem. We can be superstitious about things which have no sound scientific basis to them. But, when warned about the potential failure of our body’s defense and replenishing system…the immune system, we go on without taking heed.

The Immune system: Quidquid praecipies, esto brevis.

In case your Latin is a little rusty, “Whatever you teach, be brief.” A wise maxim. So I will herein live up to it. Here goes: “If your immune system suffers, you will too.” Let me repeat that another way, “If your immune system becomes over active or under active…you could develop diabetes, cancer, arthritis, allergies, strep, bronchitis, tuberculosis and a host of immune system related conditions.

Solution? Well, given the scientific surge in glyconutritional research, the actual solution to these and many others has been, for many sufferers, glyconutritional products. Why? Glyconutrients are the key nutrients designed to strengthen the immune system.

But, why wait to get sick? Did you know that baby’s breast milk is loaded with glyconutrients? Given that, then it is a big non-surprise that their immune systems are well nourished and diseases often pass them by while others around them (including mama) are getting sick!

Did you know many plants (foods/herbs), which people from varying cultures have known about for centuries, actually aid the immune system? The following foods have been known for their “healing properties” over the centuries…and now, because of the boost given to the immune system of our bodies by the glyconutrients in them…we know why.

Immune system boosters: Aloe Vera, coconut, Astragalus, mushrooms (medicinal), Echinacea, some algae, garlic, pectin of fruits, some herbs, yeasts, maize, breast milk, certain saps, husks…

Note the fact the immune system can be kept strong so as to furnish maximum defense when we need it. Why not GET glyconutrional support for your immune system and PREVENT the kinds of conditions that bog you down?

Why suffer from multiple bouts of flu and colds? They are due to an under active immune system.

Why suffer from repeated forays of strep? It too is due to an under active immune system. Get an immune system boost through glyconutrition.

How about those ear infections in junior? Ear infections are due also, in part, to under active immune system conditions. Give them a boost. Glyconutritionals are non-prescription. They are also non-toxic (They’re foods!).

Are you ready for the allergy season? Allergies are the response to over active immune systems. Don’t groan. Cursing the darkness never CURED anything. Glyconutrional supplementation modulates the immune system also. That’s a fancy way of saying the immune system is regulated by the glyconutrients.

What about those of us who have been literally tormented, embarrassed, fatigued and distressed by acute sinus infections? Sinusitis is due, in part, to an under active immune system. I don’t have to tell you what a relief PREVENTION would be. NOT GETTING sinusitis is well worth it. On the other hand, most of us will continue to wait until our immune systems fail us…we get sick…miss work…sneezing all the time, excusing ourselves forever…

All of us see the wisdom in preventing the “let down” our immune systems will suffer IF we do not provide the nutritional strength needed, just as surely as not having vitamin C will ALWAYS result in scurvy. Remember, glyconutrients are NOT new vitamins, minerals, amino acids or enzymes. They are an entirely different nutrient. And they are food. Think NON-Prescription.

Of course, prevention is all it is “cracked up to be.” We see some expense (nothing like “sick bills” i.e. days lost at work, doctor’s visits, x-rays, prescriptions, weakness, suffering, etc.)…We see no apparent results (how do you “see” your immune system anyway?)…We stay healthy (because we aren’t sick to begin with!)…and we decide there’s nothing happening, so we quit prevention, thinking all is well.

Watch out for fortune cookies.

Start Taking Nutritional Supplements for Natural Skin Glow

Healthy glowing skin is one of the most cherished dreams of all of us. Our skin is the reflection of our health and vitality, physical, mental and emotional wellness. A radiant and glowing skin indicates good health, positive attitude and vibrates self confidence.

Natural skin care is not just about using skin products but also an ongoing process of a result of a healthy life-style and right diet that includes vitamins, minerals and nutrients.

But due to busy lifestyle sometimes we are unable to take proper care of our meal plan. This may lead to vitamin deficiency. So instead of trying some beauty cosmetic first we must check the diet that whether it’s enough to provide our basic need of nutrients. If the answer is no then we must go for some nutritional supplements to fill that nutrition gap.

Nutritional supplements will not only provide us with radiant skin glow but also have several health benefits. Also the foundation for good health is a lifestyle that includes a sensible diet with nutritional supplements, sufficient quality sleep, exercises and weight management. Taking high-quality, anti-aging advanced nutritional supplements helps fill in the dietary gaps that everyone will have.

Taking Calcium and Vitamin D supplements can help our bones to stay healthy and strong, and even help prevent osteoporosis in women. Antioxidant nutritional supplements can help us against heart disease, lower the risk of cancer, and help to protect eyes, lungs, and the brain. Fruits and vegetables are very high in antioxidants, so we should make sure that we eat them whenever possible. However most of the time we do not eat enough fruits and vegetables, so taking antioxidants in the form of nutritional supplements is a viable alternative.

However, nutritional supplements should never be used as a substitute for a good diet. Eating at least three well-balanced meals and two well-balanced snacks per day is still the best way to be sure we’re getting all the vitamins and minerals our body needs to stay fit and healthy.

Condom and Lubes

With so many STDs and life threatening diseases such as AIDS looming large over the most natural of human acts -sex- the call for the need to practice safer sex is echoing louder than ever before.

Here, safer sex means protecting oneself from exposure to semen, vaginal fluids, breast milk, or blood during intercourse so that the chances of STDs and AIDS can be reduced to the minimum.

Condoms, surgical gloves, and plastic wrap are few things that could provide protection against such exposures in various circumstances. This article focuses on the role of condoms and lubes in making the act of love making, the safest act on earth.

The best condoms to use for anal and vaginal intercourse are lubricated latex condoms. Lambskin condoms could easily break off and are not proved to be that effective against HIV and STDs. Polyurethane condoms, on the other hand, are good enough, but still it is not as good as latex ones. Hence, on a safer side, your priority must be latex lubricated condoms, followed by polyurethane ones.

Regarding the use of condoms, while unpacking, make sure that the condom is very much within its expiry date. If it has exceeded the expiry period, dispose it and go for a brand new pack. While wearing the condom, ensure that it reaches till the lower part of the penis, near the balls.

After love making, while pulling out the condom, hold the condom near the balls so that it does not slip off accidentally. Remember, this must be done only after you are completely out of your partner. Finally, dispose the used condom. Never use a condom for the second time, even if the partners are the same.

Lubes are meant to reduce friction during entering and during intercourse. It is especially useful for women if they are indulging in love making for the first time. But, one must understand that not all lubes provide the same level of comfort and protection. For example, water-based lubes are the best bet as it does not have any side effects on the body or on the condom.

On the other hand, oil based ones can actually disintegrate and break latex. Oils are best for cars, but definitely not for sex. Finally, don’t ever attempt to substitute lubes with Vaseline, creams, or lotion as lubricants, if you cannot get your hands on a water-based lube at the hour of need. It could cause infection in the genitals.

Why Organic - Why Not - Why You Should Be Choosing Organic And Sustainable Products

I’m still shocked, fascinated and horrified all at the same time when I visit my local supermarket on the rare occasion. It literally is a toxic haven and I am angered and frustrated at the inability to find even a minuscule array of true organic products that will not harm me or my environment.

The extreme over consumers that we lovely humans have become accustomed and even a slave to is ridiculous and embarrassing. Let me ask you this…
What do you intend to tell your children or your grand children when they cannot swim in the ocean or any water way for that matter because it is completely unsafe? When it is too hot to go outdoors without 60 plus sunscreen or the fear of a third degree burn? When the amount of weird and wonderful diseases that they will face cannot be explained (though could have been prevented and cured) due to over stuffing them with a cocktail of who knows what both internally and externally for a vast number of years?

Are you smirking at these remarks and thinking to yourself that this is an impossible notion. Is it really?

If you have read a newspaper or listened to the radio recently you would realise that this is not so impossible anymore. The chemicals in your skincare and your food are absorbed directly into your system and passed directly into your immediate environment. Have you ever heard the saying ‘Little Hinges Swing Big Doors’. It only takes small mistakes to cause catastrophic damage yet it only takes a small amount of effort and change to cause the opposite. So which side of the fence are you on?

Kevin Farrow; creator of The Alchemist Natural Beauty Range and Store Owner in his latest book ‘Skin Deep’ talks about our society being the first to choose commerce over health. He seems to be right as we all knowingly poison ourselves everyday. He also discovers in detail the real truths about chemicals and their testing, the political arena surrounding this industry, the big companies and in detail, every chemical you should be scared of and need to take out of your daily regime. Kevin also mentions that there are now over 200 synthetic chemicals found in our bodies that weren’t even invented in 1900. For a list of toxic ingredients please visit my website.

So what I’m wondering is, do you actually know what the jargon is that is placed on the behind of your ‘beauty’ products? Are your truly aware of what you lovingly lather all over yourself everyday? More importantly, are you taking action and choosing sustainable products?

Whilst on the subject of chemical nasties and the under regulated big industry giants who line their pockets at the expense of your health… how is it that the Organic and Bio Dynamic Farming Industry who produce our goods naturally and how they once originally were have to pay large sums and undergo a lengthy test process to prove themselves to be ‘Organic’ when the companies producing products full of toxic chemicals, additives, fertilizers and antibiotics don’t pay a cent and don’t have to label their goods to any suitable standard?
Why are we not all asking for the latter to label their products for exactly what they are…UNNATURAL, INORGANIC, DANGEROUS FOR YOUR HEALTH, NOT SUITABLE FOR EVERYBODY. Where is the common sense?

What the real issue is here is changing our lazy ways and taking responsibility. I could moan about this for hours but I don’t. I trot off to my local Organic Farmers Market and buy my goods. I shop for my healthy whole foods, natural beauty products, fantastic eco friendly cleaning products and my medicinal herbs all at my local health food shop or my healthy supermarket or better yet I can do it all online now and have it delivered. I can do this because I am lucky to have it readily available to me and I allow time to educate myself and make an effort. You also can too.

Is it more expensive to shop this way… sometimes but generally not if you shop smart? Is it worth making the effort for my health, the taste, the feel and a clear conscience that I am doing what is best for my body, for future generations and my environment; ABSOLUTELY! In fact I quite enjoy it. don’t you just know that feeling you get when you do something for the good of yourself and for others. It’s warm and fuzzy.

Moving on…I won’t continue to lecture or enlighten you. All I am asking you to do is use your common sense and awareness and make an effort for the benefit of YOU and for a sustainable future for our planet. Its just little hinges….

Happy & Smart Shopping!

Natural Ways To Quit Smoking

A decade ago, I would not have thought that ballooning up to 300 pounds would be something I could ever do. However, when I went from a physical lifestyle to sitting around – I gained weight. When I ate pizza and beer most nights — I gained weight. When I started smoking rather than walking – I gained weight. Losing weight was over a three-year battle. I DID know, however, that I preferred to do it naturally. I looked into some get-skinny-quickly ideas, but found that they held more risk for me than I wanted.

So, when it came to quitting smoking, I also wanted to do that a more natural way. However, you certainly need to do your homework. as with losing weight and quitting smoking – I started trying to do them both by myself. I lost 70 pounds on my own, but could get no further. I also quit for 3 weeks by myself, but took it up again. For both – I needed help. I found a weight loss center to assist in my weight, and I found that I just needed someone to “keep me honest” in my dealings with food. I also found that I did very well with nicotine gum, as well as the newer nicotine lozenges. Both kept me on the right track.

One of the most natural ways to help one quit anything, is to find a support group. Family and friends are your first line of defense (especially those friends – like one of mine – who would pull a cigarette out of my mouth and stomp on it, then crush the pack of cigarettes in his hand!). After that, finding others who either are in the same struggle as you, (or have struggled in the past and overcome it) is your second best hope.

One of my biggest obstacles when I quit smoking, was trying to get past the social ties with smoking. When I went out for a drink, I also wanted to smoke. For me, smoking and drinking went hand-in-hand. Having many friends who did NOT smoke helped. I also happened to smoke after I ate. So, wanting and craving for a cigarette after meals was very intense. Most states actually have programs over the telephone that can get you in touch with a trained counselor to develop a plan to quit smoking. Each method is unique to the persons’ smoking pattern.

Telephone counseling is one of the most convenient, since it can be done in the home, and is available nights and weekends. It seems that studies have shown that the best support to help people quit smoking was either individual or group counseling. Usually, the more intense the program, the better the success rate is likely. Try to avoid programs that promise success without any work on the smokers’ part. If the program charges high rates, then check with the Better Business Bureau on the programs’ authenticity.

So now you’re a little more educated. You know the benefits of quitting smoking. But knowing the benefits of quitting smoking is rarely enough to get people to quit. They need help. If you’re looking to quit smoking and you’re actually looking for a way to do it ON THE FIRST TRY, then thecomputerguynetwork.com/info/Quit-Smoking-Today.htm CLICK HERE to Learn The Step-By-Step System that led over 95% of smokers to
quit on their very first try!

Simple Steps to Lose Weight with Hypothyroidism

Hypothyroidism and weight gain go hand in hand because when thyroid function is low, metabolism slows down as well. While not all people with hypothyroidism gain weight, it is very often one of the symptoms of the condition. Thyroid hormones not only play a significant role in metabolism, which in turn affects weight, but insufficient thyroid function can result in fluid retention, further contributing to weight gain. Another reason why hypothyroidism and weight gain are connected is that the condition usually causes fatigue and lethargy, which can result in a decrease in activity that contributes to weight gain.

Further, losing weight with hypothyroidism can be especially challenging if not done correctly because excessive dieting can lower metabolism even further. It is very important, therefore, to follow a healthy weight loss regimen if you are trying to lose weight with hypothyroidism.

A diagnosis of hypothyroidism is made using a simple blood test for thyroid hormones. If levels of the hormone T4 are low or if levels of thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) are high, the test is considered positive for hypothyroidism. However, even when blood levels of thyroid hormones fall within normal range, some practitioners still attribute symptoms like fatigue and weight gain to thyroid function, believing the symptoms may be caused by sub-clinical hypothyroidism (sometimes called “sluggish thyroid”).

For several reasons, women are especially prone to hypothyroidism and weight gain, though the condition does exist in men as well. Women are more likely to diet, and when they do, they are more likely to “feast and then fast” too often. This yo-yo pattern of dieting interferes with metabolism, especially during perimenopause, the years leading up to menopause that are characterized by hormonal fluctuations.

Even women with regular menstrual cycles are subject to natural hormonal fluctuations that contribute to the challenge of losing weight with hypothyroidism. Further, women tend to internalize stress more than men, which can affect the function of both the adrenal gland and the thyroid gland.

The good news is that, even with the inherent challenges of losing weight with hypothyroidism, there are a number of things that can be done about hypothyroidism and weight gain.

How to Boost Your Metabolism?

Nutritional supplements, regular vigorous exercise and, a healthy eating plan can help regulate metabolism so that it will be easier to lose weight. For instance, since eating actually stimulates metabolism, people who want to lose weight with hypothyroidism may benefit from eating six small meals at regular intervals throughout the day. Prevent Eating Disorders In Order To Maintain a Healthy Body

Preventing eating disorders can be possible with some preventive measures. However, there was a query that rose among many health professionals and eating disorder patients whether preventing eating disorders is possible or not.

According to latest investigations, there are a number of preventive measures that can be taken so as to preventing eating disorders. Preventing eating disorders measures are needed to adopt by those family members where there are past records of eating disorders or behaviors of compulsive eating.

Measures To Be Taken For Preventing Eating Disorders

Here are five preventive measures that can perform in order to keep eating disorders at bay.
1. Decline to diet for preventing eating disorders. Eating disorder experts found that dieting is typically the primary step in developing an eating disorder. It is been found in a research that a woman who tends to have extreme dieting is eighteen times more at risk of raising an eating disorder. If someone in your family may be susceptible of developing an eating disorder, they should abstain from dieting. As a replacement, the individual need to consult a physician in order to learn about the ways that are safe and effective in losing weight.

2. Parents should act as positive and healthy role models in preventing eating disorders. A researcher states that parents play a very significant role in tracing out whether children are ultimately developing an eating disorder or not. Most of the parents automatically project their unhealthy viewpoints and approaches regarding their own bodies that their children pick up on. Parents with a high value about being thin or other features of one’s physical appearance may be transferring the point to their children with a belief that physical appearance plays a vital role than being happy and healthy.

Parents have to struggle in order to develop a positive attitude about their own bodies and need to offer a safe, caring and non-judgmental atmosphere to their children. This atmosphere can be achieved by preparing a nutritious meal along with enjoyable activities that involves total family.

3. Family dynamics can set up means to preventing an eating disorder. Families should strive to spend quality time together. Plan to eat dinner together, and participate in outdoor activities that give pleasure. Criticism and competition need to be avoided so as to generate a secure and loving environment where children feel cherished.

4. Prefer exercises as a means of preventing eating disorders in order to have a good health, not a thin body. In general you will have a negative attitude towards exercise and think of exercise as just a task that is boring, hard, and even painful. Changing the opinion regarding exercise can definitely help you in preventing eating disorders. Repossessing the sense of the unadulterated pleasure of movement can become a measure in preventing eating disorders. Try to make every effort in those activities in which you have interest and thrill you.

5. Eat a multiplicity of foods in moderation. Eating food in moderation is a way where you can eat even your favorite guilty pleasures. In order to cultivate a healthy attitude towards food try preventing eating disorders. Remember that it is a safe way to eat anything you want, as long as you balance your eating behaviors.

What Causes Attention Deficit Disorder?

When a child is diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), parents often look to themselves to lay the blame. While evidence suggests that heredity and pregnancy habits play an important role in ADD patients, many researchers believe that it is the brain that undergoes structural changes that causes Attention Deficit Disorder to surface. After an accurate diagnosis, the proper treatment can be administered, as well as an assessment of environmental factors that may worsen symptoms.

The million-dollar question in the minds of parents with ADD children is “what exactly causes Attention Deficit Disorder?” Below, you will find some of the proposed causes of this condition, which are different for each and every ADD individual:

1) Distorted Brain Function

In the past, researchers blamed a chemical imbalance for the cause of Attention Deficit Disorder. At the time, many diagnosed ADD patients exhibited low levels of dopamine, which is a chemical that relays messages to the section of brain matter responsible for movement, motivation and attentiveness. Following an assortment of brain scans, doctors now believe that the neural paths that the messages travel along may interrupt the proper receipt of information regarding impulse, organization and attention.

2) Heredity

There is a known fact that Attention Deficit Disorder travels down the family tree. It is said that about one in every four children with the condition has at least one other family member with ADD.

3) Habits During Pregnancy

Smoking has always held a dark cloud over pregnancy, causing an array of infant complications. Pregnant women should refrain from smoking because it increases the risk of having a child with Attention Deficit Disorder. Alcohol and drug abuse also affects the neurological activity in a baby that can lead to ADD. The chances of having a baby with Attention Deficit Disorder also increases when a mother is exposed to various chemicals, such as the industrial variety.

4) Childhood Exposure

The environment of a young child plays an important role in their development and growth. When a child is exposed to a high amount of environmental toxins, they run the risk of suffering from a host of developmental and behavioral problems. Even breast milk and various kinds of fish have been known to transmit these toxins to young children.

It is important for parents to do the best they can do to protect their child from preventable factors that have a history of leading to Attention Deficit Disorder. While certain brain function deviations cannot be helped, a child can still be kept out of harm’s way by recognizing and avoiding numerous toxins (such as tobacco smoke and drug use).

Who’s Your “Sugar” Daddy?

Who’s your “Sugar” daddy?

As we stroll the aisles of our supermarket, we can’t help notice the all the beautiful bright packaging that boasts “ Natural” ingredients. Natural is good, organic is best, yet, a closer look at the label shows the un-natural, shameful truth. It’s another sad note on the food processing game, but ‘profit’ is the true “sugar daddy” of the industry.

High fructose corn syrup (HFCS) now turns up in so many of our sweet- laden foods that it is even in beer, bacon, protein bars, yogurt and sandwich meats. As we shopped, we looked for a healthy fruit juice. Surprise! The first ingredient on many of the fruit juices we shopped was high fructose corn syrup.

Cheap and Sweet to Eat

HFCS is a manufactured ingredient from corn which may or may not be from genetically modified crops. It is a concentrated sugar that is also known as corn syrup, dextrose, fructose and glucose. HFCS is a very inexpensive sweetener from a production point of view. HFCS blends well in most foods and it’s very inexpensive and sweet. From the manufactures point of view it’s a financial dream, complete with a long shelf life.

It’s important to note that real, unprocessed fruit juice contains fiber which slows the body’s metabolism of sugars. But add in HFCS and all the sugar is absorbed rapidly, adding to see-saw energy and an appalling increase in diabetes and insulin resistance in this country.. An interesting note about sugars is that nearly 25% of the daily caloric intake from sugar is from high fructose corn syrup. Glucose, found in real fruit juice is metabolized in every cell in the body but all fructose must be metabolized in the liver. The livers of test animals fed large amounts of fructose develop fatty deposits and cirrhosis, similar to problems that develop in the livers of alcoholics. Pure fructose contains no enzymes, vitamins or minerals and robs the body of its micronutrients. How sweet is that?

Do things really go better?

HFCS is the main sweetener used in a vast array of products including soft drinks. Teen boys average at least three can of soft drinks a day while a smaller percentage, opts for upwards of seven cans daily. Teenage girls have a lower consumption at about two cans a day. In table sugar terms, each can contains 6 Tablespoons of sugar!

Fructose converts into fat more than other sugars and one recent study claims a link between obesity and HFCS from soft drinks consumed.

An analysis of a 20-ounce cola drink shows it contains no fat or protein and nearly 27 grams of carbohydrates: normally delivered in high fructose corn syrup. “The bodies of the children I see today are mush,” observed a concerned chiropractor recently. The culprit is the modern diet, high in fructose and low in copper-containing foods, resulting in inadequate formation of elastin and collagen: the sinews that hold the body together.

Sweet for the food manufacturers because its cheap and makes a profit, it’s causing multiple diseases and damage to our bodies. That doesn’t sound sweet at all.
